From Wego

WE GO is a band and dancecompany with four dancers and four musicians, from four different countries with a solid base in Copenhagen, Denmark.

WE GO was founded by composer Niels Bjerg and choreographer Kirstine Kyhl Andersen in 2004 and together they create performances and events both with the ensemble and other independent works. The always present element of their collaboration is the mix of the live concert and new dance into a coherent expression, where all performers on stage take part in the choreography.

• MUSIC FROM MOVEMENT

Premiere and album release in Amsterdam January 27th PMP presents WE GO in their new concert and dance performance at The Melkweg Theater. All sounds derive from movements that are so clear that the audience can follow the origin of every sound and the choreography consists only of movements that has the purpose of playing instruments. The ensemble becomes a visual musical mechanism which the audience can both hear, see and dance along to.

• NEW WE GO RECORDINGS

WE GO has just finished recording their new album with tunes for their next concert-performance, co-produced by PMP in Amsterdam during January 2012. Looking forward to the release party / premiere in Melkweg Theater on 27th of January! These fantastic bands are starring on the album: KNALPOT (NL) and DOKTOR SCHNITT (NL)
